Our Process

What Happens After You Reach Out

No sales pitches, no contracts to sign on the first call. Just a clear look at what your billing is doing today and what we can fix.

1

Response in 2 hours

Our team replies same-day during business hours, often within 30 minutes. Phone calls connect to a U.S. team member, not an offshore call center.

2

30-min discovery call

We learn about your specialty, EHR, current billing setup, payer mix, and what is broken. Bring questions. No script, no pressure.

3

Free billing audit

Send us 90 days of A/R aging and a denial report. We come back with a written diagnostic showing exactly where revenue is leaking and how much.

4

Proposal & onboarding

If you want to move forward, you get a transparent fee proposal at 2.49% starting rate. Onboarding takes 2 to 3 weeks with zero billing downtime.

Helpful to have

What to Have Ready for the Audit

You do not need any of this to start a conversation. But if you want a precise dollar-figure on what your current billing is costing you, these reports let us run the math.

All shared documents are covered under a signed Business Associate Agreement before any review begins. Nothing leaves our HIPAA-compliant environment.

Last 90 days of A/R aging by bucket

Shows where claims are stuck and how aged your collectibles are.

Denial report from your clearinghouse or EHR

We map denial codes to root causes and rework priorities.

Payer mix breakdown

Identifies whether the issue is commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, or a specific carrier.

Top 20 CPT codes billed last month

Lets us check fee schedules, modifier usage, and bundling exposure.

EHR / PM system name

Confirms we have integration patterns or workflows already documented.

Current billing arrangement (in-house, outsourced, hybrid)

Helps us scope what onboarding looks like and where to start.

Common Questions

Before You Call

How much does Go Medical Billing cost?+
Pricing starts at 2.49% of collections for full-service billing. Final rate depends on specialty, claim volume, and scope. We never charge setup fees, software licensing, or per-claim add-ons. You only pay on money we actually collect for you.
Do I have to sign a long-term contract?+
No. We work on a 30-day rolling agreement. If our work is not measurably better than what you had, you can cancel. Practices stay with us because the numbers improve, not because they are locked in.
How long does it take to onboard a new practice?+
Most practices are fully transitioned in 2 to 3 weeks. We connect to your EHR, mirror your existing workflows, run a parallel claim batch, and start submitting under our team without any gap in your cash flow.
Do you sign a Business Associate Agreement?+
Yes. A BAA is signed before any PHI is shared. Our HIPAA security program includes encrypted data transmission, role-based access, audit logging, annual training, and quarterly security reviews.
Which specialties do you bill for?+
We bill for 40 plus specialties including cardiology, orthopedics, urgent care, behavioral health, dermatology, ASC, laboratory, internal medicine, OB/GYN, pain management, and more. Each account is staffed with AAPC-certified coders who know the specialty.
Do you work with my EHR or practice management system?+
Yes. We integrate with the major EHRs and PM systems including Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, Kareo, AdvancedMD, NextGen, Practice Fusion, DrChrono, Tebra, and most cloud-based clearinghouses. If you use something unusual, we connect through your clearinghouse.
Will I have a dedicated account manager?+
Yes. Every practice gets a named U.S.-based account manager who knows your specialty and payer mix. You will not be routing through a ticket queue. Direct phone, direct email, weekly check-ins during onboarding and monthly thereafter.
What if I am just looking and not ready to switch?+
That is fine. The free billing audit gives you a written diagnostic of your current revenue cycle whether you switch to us or not. Many practices use it to negotiate better terms with their current biller or to fix internal workflows.
